Ohio Comic Con

Hey everyone I'm back again! I've had a ton of new adventures since I've last posted! I actually got to go to another con! It's Ohio Comic con! This is my third year going to this con and this year was by far the most congested in terms of attendance! It was so congested and crazy! I had a lot of fun though!  I brought along three friends! Kayla, Cheyenne, and Befferey (Terri)! We had tons of fun! The First night we drove up to Columbus and stayed in the hotel Friday night. Strange Spoopy things happened Friday night! We kinda did the Pendulum game and had some contact with spirits. We even took some pictures and we caught orbs/mists/ and more! It was quite spooky! I'll let you guys decide if these are real manifestations or not?
As you Can See. There's a weird anomaly behind her to the right? I don't know if that's her Shadow or not?

There's three, Four, Five orbs above myself. So Creepy.

That's how we felt once we were done!!! It was a creepy paranormal experience!
Well enough about Spoopy Halloween Night Shenanigans! Let's talk about the Ohio Comic Con~! The Next day we got up early ready to get going! Well Me and Cheyenne did, Kayla and Befferey on the other hand did not want anything to do with morning! Anyway we headed out towards the convention center to Befferey and Kayla's dismay! $10 for Parking! Which I didn't think was too bad! Anyway we finally headed into the convention center. I happened to wear my Magickarp hat from Pokemon! I got a lot of complements! Cheyenne went as Death the Kid from Soul Eater!

Here's the only pic I could find of Cheyenne on Befferey's Camera! Anyway Cheyenne had a bout 10 different people asked her to get in a picture with them! I have to say Cheyenne's Costume was on point! We got a lot of souvenirs as well! Kayla got a awesome Graphic novel by: Matt Mcdowell, she got a cool batman bank, and a 4 prints for $20 (a great deal if you ask her). Cheyenne got a cool tri-corn hat, and a amazing looking pocket watch! Befferey got an awesome pirate hat as well, two cicada ocarinas! I got an awesome Deck box with a dice holder on the bottom of the deck box and awesome lime green painted dice! It's Awesome!  We also got some free trading cards! It was Cardfight!! Vanguard Promo cards, I got a $5.29 card. I was pretty stoked! Anyway That's it for our con experience besides us splitting up and not being able to find each other! I think everyone had a  blast and we're sure to hopefully do it again next year! (Even though dad said it was too crowded this year) Anyway that's all for this blog! Thanks for Reading!

Anthrocon, Friendship, and more!

My Best friend who I met on the internet 5 years ago came down to stay at my place for about three weeks! Today's her last day here and I'm going to miss her dearly. She actually came down so we could take her to AC (Anthrocon The biggest furry convention in the US) I'm so sad to see her go home.

Anthrocon was a blast my mother came down from West Virginia to meet us up in Pittsburgh!
The First day of the con was exciting, we tried to register at the front but mom didn't have a Photo ID on her so she had to go out to back out to the car to get her Licence. After that we went inside and it was pretty huge, bigger than Morphicon 2014, but not as big as the Ohio Comic Con. Here is a part of the convention center

It was so much fun and it was right next to the river so you could go out on the balcony and wave at passing boats and confuse them!
The Convention was a lot of fun and we got a lot of stuff, I commissioned a few artists for some art and even tail! Here's some of the stuff I got at the convention!
Badges for me and my friends the Deer one and Rat one are mine the rest are for family and friends!
My amazing rat Tail I got it's so long that I have to wrap it around my body so it doesn't get too dirty
This trip was a major success and I had a lot of fun going through the conventin and panels and meeting a lot of my friends that I've met at the furmeet! I can't wait to see what next years convention will bring and hopefully  by next years Anthrcon I'll be in my amazing fursuit of Leilani!

Reading, Fursuit and ANTHROCON!!

Okay Okay I've been reading some amazing books lately and I have to say this book already made me almost cry in despair! It's a book by Curtis Jobling called Wereworld, It's absolutely riveting and I'm enjoying every second of it! Here's the cover of the first book!
There's more books as well and I can't wait to see what happens next! Great book! I recommend it if you're a lover of werewolves you should totally read it! Also I've been reading the Fault in our Stars, and sadly to be honest I love Wereworld a lot more than it. It's just not my type of book, it's cute of course but I like the more dramatic love story. Another book I purchased at Book A Million the other day was Spirit Animals by Brandon Mull. I haven't started yet, but all the books come with a special code for a online game they have and it's really fun! I play a lot of MMO's and this game reminds me of League of Legends mixed with Diablo III, It's great, but it's for kids. But I'm a kid at heart so there's no wrong in that! Here's the Cover of the first book!
It Looks interesting but once I finish Wereworld and the Fault in our Stars, I'll start this series as well!

I've also been collecting signed books by my favorite authors, I just purchased a signed book of Wereworld and I cannot wait to see it! And I also purchased the first three Avalon: Web of Magicc books that are signed by Rachel Roberts! I also purchased a signed Fault in our Stars book by John Greene!! So excited to read all these great books!
Also Guys I finally found someone to make Ayala, I have received my resin blanks, but alas I have to time to work on them so I've found someone to create my character with my supplies for a reasonable price! Her name is Kiyeri, and I'm so excited!
Also my Best friend from the interwebs is coming down the 20th of June and I'm so excited, she's staying here for a few weeks and is going to anthrocon with me! I miss her so much and can't wait to see her again! We're gonna have a blast seeing all the great fursuiters there! Look for me I have red hair and will be wearing this badge!

Well that's about it for this week I'll write again when my friend Kaitlynn arrives in Ohio! I'm So excited I can't wait! Well I"m off Toodle Loo!

New Sewing Machine and Furry Fun

Heya everyone! Sorry I haven't been blogging much, but I'm gonna be changing that real soon! I hope to write my life through this blog, and I'm sure you guys and gals are gonna enjoy it! I just got back from Rivera Maya, Mexico. I had to go for my cousin Ashley's wedding, it was really pretty down there but everyone got really sick (Except for me hah!) It was fun and a lot of my freckles came out while I was out lounging on a hammock reading Game of Thrones.

But today I got a new sewing machine today, and well.... I'm so frustrated, I've never really done sewing except for a lot of hand sewing projects. I've never worked with a sewing machine before, so if there's any tips and tricks any advice would be appreciated! This is the model I got! The Singer 7528! It got a lot of awards and good reviews so I figured I'd bite the bullet and try it out! I just wish I could figure out how to thread the darn thing >.<
Well anywayI have a few projects I'd like to share with you, as you can tell by my pictures on this blog, I am indeed a Furry, but don't you worry I'm not the.... weird kind :P so I don't bite.... much >:) Anyway I'm making a fursuit with my best friend Kayla and we already purchased the Resin heads and some supplies! Here's what mine looks like! Her name's Ayala and she's a white-tailed deer (Cervine)
Reference Sheet:
This Awesome Person Made This ! I can't wait to get her! My friend has a Bovine (cow) Character so we purchased her bovine head, and she looks fabulous! Here's hers!

Reference Sheet: (no colors yet :c)
I haven't got them yet but She's shipping them out real soon and I just cannot wait! EEK! I get to bring my character to life! So excited! But I have to figure out my sewing machine before anything else since that will be my main way to bring my character to life is by sewing the pieces of fur together... Hopefully my grandmother Mimi, will help me out, since she's a great crafter, writer, and artist! She's coming up tomorrow and I can't wait to see her! She practically raised me as a kid, and I love her with all my heart, ah hem, anyway That's about it for this edition of Lia's Life :P I hope you all have a wonderful day and can continue on! <3
